Aniruddh Dave who is seen essaying the role of inspector Hanuman Singh in the popular television show, Patiala Babes had tested positive for the deadly Coronavirus on April 23 has been now shifted to an intensive care unit (ICU) as his condition has deteriorated. The news was shared by his friend and TV Actor Aastha Chaudhary on social media.
On Friday, Aastha Chaudhary shared a note on her Instagram story and asked her fans to pray for Aniruddh. “Need prayers for our friend Aniruddh Dave. He is in ICU. Pls spare a min and do pray for him,” she wrote.
Anirudh’s friend-actor Ajay Singh Chaudhary, while talking to the Times Of India, gave an update on his health and said: that Aniruddh was shooting in Bhopal for a series when he tested positive for COVID and he decided to stay back instead of jetting off to Mumbai and getting treated there. Later, his reports suggested that his infection is more than it should be and thus he has been shifted to the ICU.
Ajay said that Anirudh’s oxygen levels could have been fluctuated owing to the infection. He said that he currently can’t fly to Bhopal to be with his friend and is trying to help him and is also in touch with the medical team there.
Last week, Aniruddh took to social media to share that he has tested positive for Covid-19 and wrote, “Chaha toh bohot ki tumse mulaqat na ho. Woh kahawat hai na bakre ki amma kab tak khair manayegi, bahar aao toh shikaar hona hi hai (I really wanted to never get Covid. As they say, a goat is never safe, he will be hunted down as soon as he steps out) (sic).”
“Jeevan mein bohot positive hoon, bas yehi negative chahta tha Haan, waqt yeh bhi guzar jayega. Bohot bohot pyaar (I am very positive about life, I just wanted my report to be negative. This too shall pass. Lots of love) (sic),” he concluded.
Anirudh Dave will be seen next in the Bollywood film, Bell Bottom opposite Akshay Kumar.
