Pathan: John Abraham Joins Shah Rukh Khan in YRF Project?

Superstar Shah Rukh Khan has been missing from the big screen for long. The actor was last seen in Aanand L Rai’s Zero. Fans have been waiting for King Khan to make an announcement but only rumours flooded the market. A new rumour is all about SRK joining hands with YRF for their next to be directed by Siddharth Anand. The movie has tentatively been titled as Pathan.

According to the latest update, John Abraham will also be a part of the film. Apparently the actor will be playing the role of an antagonist.

As reported by sources to Bollywood Hungama, “Not much is known about the film’s subject and what roles Shah Rukh and John play in Pathan. But it is said that both are pitted against each other in this film and this would surely make for an exciting watch, considering how well audiences received War. However, Pathan is not in the zone of War and is set in a world different from the Hrithik Roshan-Tiger Shroff starrer altogether.”

Pathan is expected to be formally announced next month as part of the 50th-anniversary celebrations of Yash Raj Films. The production house will be launching a number of big projects to mark the occasion. Many other big flicks are also going to be launched as part of this momentous occasion.

Reportedly the movie has Deepika Padukone as the female lead. The out and out commercial entertainer will apparently release in 2021.
