MLA Jitu Patwari made this remark while interacting with voters in Indore during door-to-door election campaign.

In the video, the Congress working President and MLA Jitu Patwari can be heard saying to people that no matter what party he belongs, “please vote for me”. He urges people to vote for him while accepting that the people don’t have to think about the Congress party and just “take care” of his own reputation.
The rival party BJP has raised doubts over his questionable remark. As per reports, action may be taken against the party worker due to his derogatory statements.
Jitu Patwari’s remark comes a day after Congress senior leader Salman Khurshid took a dig at his own party and said that it is “difficult” for Congress to win on its own in the 2019 elections. He further said that anyone who disagrees with him can say ‘No Alliance’ and take the “rap of the consequences”.
“Takes more than tweets to win. Did you think you are saying what Modi says? We can all be wrong but that includes YOU,” Khurshid tweeted.
