Paris Hilton visits grandfather’s funeral

Paris Hilton paid her last respects to Barron Hilton recently. The actress attended her grandfather’s funeral in the morning on October 19. The 38 year old DJ paid her respects to him. Barron Hilton was the son and successor of hotelier Conrad Hilton. She was their beside her sister Nicky and their family at Good Shepherd Church in Beverly Hills, California.

As per a report in TMZ, the two sisters Paris and Nicky greeted all the guests outside the church before before they went inside before the service. Apparently, Paris was overwhelmed last month when Barron passed away. He was 91 years old.

“It’s been really hard, we were so close.”

“My entire life I’ve looked up to him and admired him and he’s been my mentor, and he’s such a legend. I’m heartbroken that he’s gone, but I have to think about it in a way that he lived such a full life.” she said.

The socialite decided that she would continue with her grandfather’s ‘incredible legacy’. After Baron’s death on September 19, Paris took to twitter and posted throwback pictures of herself and her grandfather on twitter.

Paris wrote in the caption, “I am deeply saddened by the loss of my grandfather Barron Hilton. He was a Legend, a visionary, brilliant, handsome, kind and lived a life full of accomplishment and adventure. Ever since I was a little girl I have looked up to him as a businessman.” Check out the tweet below.

Baron Hilton was born in Dallas, Texas in 1927. Later on, he retired from hotel chain in 1996.
