Panipat Trailer: Sanjay Dutt steals Arjun Kapoor’s thunder in this period drama

Ashutosh Gowariker is back after a hiatus of three years. Post Mohenjo Daro, he is all set to bring alive the epic battle of Panipat on the big screen. The Ashutosh Gowariker directorial Panipat features Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Kapoor and Kriti Sanon in the lead roles. It is based on the ‘Third Battle of Panipat’ fought between the Maratha Empire lead by Sadashiv Rao Bhau and invading forces of Ahmad Shah Abdali, King of Afghanistan.

After sharing the posters of period drama Panipat, the makers of the Magnus opus are out with the larger than life trailer of the film.

In the film, Sanjay is playing Ahmad Shah Abdali, whereas Arjun will portray the role of Sadashiv Rao Bhau. Kriti will be seen essaying the role of Queen Parvati Bai. The trailer showcases Sanjay Dutt and Arjun Kapoor gearing up for the epic face-off. Kriti Sanon is looking regal as Parvati Bai. We also catch a glimpse of veteran actress Zeenat Aman. But the scene-stealer is none other than Sanjay Dutt.

Panipat also stars Padmini Kolhapure, Zeenat Aman, Mohnish Bahl and Sahil Salathia in pivotal roles.It is releasing on December 6, 2019.
