Panchkula gang rape case unfolded the harsh reality of sex trafficking. The 21-year-old girl who was gang-raped in a government guest house called Morni guest house. The husband of the victim was arrested on Wednesday by Panchkula police.
The police commissioner, Charu Bali, said, “One thing is clear that the woman is a victim of rape and immoral trafficking also. Counsellors are monitoring her.”
Keeping the girl’s protection in mind, four police personnel were deployed at the girl’s residence. The police are also deliberating trying to increase her security after the latest development in the investigation. Police officials also mentioned that the authorities are looking at rehabilitating the woman once the investigation is complete.
The victim got to know about her husband’s involvement and his arrest by the Panchkula later. The husband allegedly used to supply girls to the guest house in return for money.

The husband has admitted to the police officials earlier too he has supplied women to the guest house’s owner Sunny, in lieu of money.
The accused’s husband had been previously arrested for running away with girls before getting married to them, two years ago. The Panchkula gang rape case shook the conscience of the country when it was revealed that a 21-year-old woman was gang-raped for four days by 40 men in a government guest house. More than 70 people visited the quest house after getting the photograph of the 21-year-old claimed to be a sex worker, Sunny the owner of the guest house had created several WhatsApp group to send people invites.
The case was solved from when police interrogated Sahab Singh, Sunny’s driver, he revealed that Sunny used to bring sex workers in the guest house and through WhatsApp invited people over for money. Forty people including two police officer responded to the invite. All the forty men are accused of raping the victim in a span of forty days
Police have arrested 9 people in the case include the owner Sunny, Avtar and the manager of the guest house. All the accused in the case are said to be between 20-40 age group.
