JP Dutta has earlier released songs like ‘Sandese Aate Hai’ and ‘Seemaye Bulaye’ and others and all these songs have struck a chord with the men in Uniform. This heart-touching song, sung by Sonu Nigam and composed by Anu Malik is no different. The song features Arjun Rampal, Sonu Sood, Harshvardhan Rane, Gurmeet Choudhary who are fighting for the motherland at the border and remember their loved ones at home.

With such a relatable plot and beautiful lyrics penned down by Javed Akhtar, this song would make an instant connect with the masses.
This will be the third time that Sonu Nigam will be reuniting with director JP Dutta after Border and LOC Kargil along with Javed Akhtar and Anu Malik.
The film is about the Nathu-La and Choco La clashes along the Sikkim border which took place in the year 1967 after Indo-China war in 1962.
Ahead of the release of the song, Sonu Nigam crooned two lines on social media. The makers released the clip and wrote, “A special video for everyone who is waiting for #RaatKitni in the voice of the man himself, #SonuNigam. Song out tomorrow! #Paltan @ZeeStudios_ #JPFilms @RealNidhiDutta @Javedakhtarjadu @The_AnuMalik @ZeeMusicCompany.” After singing the song, Sonu Nigam said, “Looking forward to seeing your response to the song. This is Sonu here. Lots of love.”

Other than the lead actors, the film also features Jackie Shroff, Siddhant Kapoor, Luv S Sinha, Esha Gupta, Sonal Chauhan, Deepika Kakkar and Monica Gill in pivotal roles.
The film will hit theatres on September 7.
