The 93rd Oscars were held on Sunday, April 25, at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, Los Angeles, California. The attendees this year had no host, no audience, nor face masks.
Chloe Zhao has made history by becoming the first woman of color and only the second woman at all to win the best director award at the Oscars. Daniel Kaluuya won best supporting actor for Judas and the Black Messiah. Emerald Fennell became the first woman in 13 years to win the Best Original Screenplay Oscars.
