The Best Actor In A Lead Role Oscar goes to this year’s award-circuit, critic and audience favourite, Joaquin Phoenix for his jaw-dropping performance in Joker. Hollywood hunk Brad Pitt bagged the coveted award for Once Upon A Time In Hollywood. This is his first Academy Award for acting. However, this is his second Academy win in total. Leonardo DiCaprio gave his Once Upon A Time In Hollywood co-star Brad Pitt a bone-crushing hug.
Toy Story 4 wins the Best Animated Feature Film award at Oscars 2020. Bong Joon Ho and Han Jin Ho bag the award for the Best Original Screenplay for his film Parasite at Oscars 2020. The parasite is the first South Korean film to get nominated and win an Oscar trophy.
Laura Dern wins her first Oscar for Best Supporting Actress for Marriage Story. This was her third Oscar nomination.
