Oscar Winning Canadian Actor Christopher Plummer Breathed His Last At The Age Of 91. The Cause Was A Blow To The Head As A Result Of A Fall
Canadian veteran actor, Christopher Plummer breathed his last on Friday i.e Feb 5 at the age of 91. The Oscar winning actor was at his house in Weston, Connecticut during his last moments and he was with his third wife. His wife, Elaine Taylor reportedly said the cause of his demise was a blow to the head which was a result after a fall.
Christopher Plummer who is popularly known to have been starred in The Sound of Music also has an Oscar to his credits. He had bagged this prestigious award in 2012 for his supporting role in the Beginners. He was the oldest actor ever to win the Academy Award for supporting actor. The versatile actor rose to fame after doing quite a few romantic lead roles and he was known for his humble persona.

Plummer was married three times, the first to actress Tammy Grimes, the second to journalist Patricia Audrey Lewis. He survived by third wife, actress and dancer Taylor, and a daughter with Grimes, actress Amanda Plummer.
