The Google I/O conference which took place this year was flagged off with the announcement of the third beta preview of Android Q. It brings in several features like new iPhone-like navigation gestures, a quick toggle for system-wide dark theme, and some security improvement to the Pixel devices.
Android Q shall be available in quite a few non-pixel android devices like Asus, OnePlus, Sony, Xiaomi, Realme, and half a dozen other brands. But the makers of One Plus suggest that it is still under development and Android Q must be used with caution.
They say that it is recommended only to developers who want to test apps but can’t afford the pixel device. For now, all developments made by OxygenOS based on Android Q is facing a lot of barriers in its executions. There is a broken camera and may undergo unwarranted crashes.
The Android Q developer preview builds are already out for OnePlus 6 and OnePlus 6T. The preview for OnePlus 7 shall be rolled out on May 14th when it will be launched.
