Good news for the OnePlus smartphone enthusiasts. OnePlus 6T, OnePlus’ next smartphone, is expected to be released in the market by October this year. The new smartphone will be a successor to the previously launched OnePlus 6 in May 2018. Given the company’s past record, a five-month gap does not seem surprising for the release of this amazing gadget.
Through the price has not been revealed yet but with the trends, it is expected that the smartphone’s price might go up to $550 (roughly Rs. 38,400). The most interesting fact is for the first time a major US carrier, T-Mobile, will back the OnePlus 6T. A CNET report claims that T-Mobile will be the exclusive US carrier partner for the upcoming gadget in the United States.

About the variant, it has been said that OnePlus 6T has been specially optimised for T-Mobile’s network, while for the standard version, the new device can run on both AT&T’s and T-Mobile’s network. This simply means the upcoming smartphone will support the telecom operator’s 600MHz band.
Since OnePlus signed a deal with T-Mobile, it would be the first time that the Chinese manufacturer’s phone will be sold by a US-based network operator. The only issue that might arise during the US launch is the testing required by T-Mobile to get certification on the network. However, OnePlus is in the process of getting a “technical approval”.
Though the price has been speculated and a rough idea has been projected, it is said that there could be an increase of $21 (roughly Rs. 1,500) for OnePlus 6T in comparison to OnePlus 6 in the US. However, the CNET report does not provide any information on the specifications of the phone.
