The company OnePlus is expected to launch it’s most anticipated smartphone OnePlus 6T soon, according to the latest leak suggested. There are many reports doing rounds about OnePlus 6T specification, but until now, launch date was not specified.
Currently, now an image is being widely circulated on social media indicating OnePlus 6T launch date. It suggests, the company is going to launch OnePlus 6T on October 17 this year. The date could differ from OnePlus’ usual launch cycle as its earlier phone OnePlus 5T was launched in November 2017.
But, the leaked image also features the company’s tagline “Unlock The Speed” which is most likely a reference to the presence of an in-display fingerprint sensor on the upcoming phone. The OnePlus 6T is rumoured to have a feature ‘waterdrop’ notch display. This is exactly similar to Oppo R17 Pro or the Vivo V11 Pro.

OnePlus 6T will reportedly have a 6.4-inch AMOLED screen with a 2340x1080p resolution. As mentioned above, the device is expected to feature an in-display fingerprint scanner and a previously leaked image of the device’s retail box hinted at the same. This upcoming smartphone is likely to be running on the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC, which is coupled with the Adreno 630 GPU.
The OnePlus 6T was featured on some online retailers website ahead of its launch. The online listing also suggests the smartphone will be launched in both 6GB and 8GB RAM with 64GB/128GB/256GB of internal storage. If the report is to be believed, OnePlus 6T will also have a triple rear camera setup. But if we go with the leaked version of the device, it suggests that the company will come up with dual cameras setup only.
The company’s first official TV ad of the smartphone, which was aired recently also hinted at the same, although nothing is certain until the device is officially launched. The OnePlus 6T is confirmed to ditch the 3.5mm audio jack. It could be priced at $550 (Rs 38,000 approx), however, the online listing that revealed most of the upcoming device’s specs was selling it for $569, which approximates to be around Rs 41,000.
