One Plus 6 T leak reveals In-Display fingerprint Sensor & mysterious date
One Plus 6 T leaked photos doing rounds on social media left people curious and they can’t wait to get this advanced smartphone. If rumours to be believed it will be launched in the early of Q4 probably in October. Leaked photos of One Plus 6 T revealed that the phone will have an in-display fingerprint sensor.
One Plus 6T should come as no surprise that the screen has a notch at the top for the forward facing camera. This follows the design trends of maximizing screen real estate and of course the majority of the time Android’s status bar will hide the notch. But the most noticeable feature of One Plus 6 T confirmed by the leak is that of the in-display fingerprint sensor. The internal illustration of the box shows not only the full-screen display with minimal bezels, but it also shows a fingerprint icon in the lower third of the screen too.
The images of the One Plus 6T retail box and its contents were posted on Weibo, spotted on SlashLeaks. The leaked One Plus 6 T retail box also shows the phrase “Unlock the speed” on one of the edges. As expected, the OnePlus 6T seems to take inspiration from Oppo’s next-gen series of smartphone, who have already unveiled two smartphones in its portfolio – Oppo R17, Oppo R17 Pro – having in-display fingerprint sensor.
Price of One Plus 6T is likely to go up to $6000 (roughly Rs. 43,155), continuing the brand’s strategy of increasing the base price with every generation of their flagship.
The OnePlus 6T was also allegedly spotted on Eurasian Economic Commission’s portal in Russia where it got certified under the model number A6013. The OnePlus 6 was previously certified as A6000, leading us to believe that this might be the OnePlus 6T.
