Odisha police said that they have found the body of a private bank employee buried in Ganjam district on Wednesday. Bishnu Prasad Gouda was killed apparently in connection with his illicit affair with a nurse and his body was found in several pieces, packed in polythene bags.
Went missing on August 19, parts of the body — the head, the torso, legs and hands — were found buried in Badadumula area of the district, reports NDTV. Giving more details on the case, Inspector In-Charge of Baidyanathpur police station J K Patnaik suspect that Gouda might have been killed by the absconding doctor and his body was then packed in polythene bags.
The investigating officer also suspects that the case could be of a love affair, involving the victim, who is married and the nurse who used to work in the clinic located near the New Bus Stand area. The officer state that they, along with the forensic experts have visited the clinic and are probing the matter further. However, no arrests have been made so far.
