To woo consumers during the ongoing festive season, HMD Global has dropped prices of a range of Nokia smartphones in India. Nokia smartphones ranging from the budget-friendly Nokia 3.1 to the flagship 8 Sirocco have received price cuts between Rs 1,000 to Rs 13,000.
Here are the details of all the smartphones that have received price cuts.
Nokia 3.1
The Nokia 3.1 will now be available for a market price of Rs 10,999, after a price cut of Rs 1,000.
The Nokia 3.1 runs Android 8.0 Oreo as part of the Android One programme. It sports a 5.2-inch HD+ (720×1440 pixels) display with an 18:9 aspect ratio and Corning Gorilla Glass protection. The handset is powered by an octa-core MediaTek MT6750 SoC.
Nokia 5.1
The Nokia 5.1 on the other hand, will now retail for Rs 12,999, instead of Rs 14,499 earlier.
The Nokia 5.1 has a 5.5-inch full-HD+ (1080×2160 pixels) IPS LCD display with an 18:9 aspect ratio and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The smartphone is powered by an octa-core MediaTek MT6755S SoC.
Nokia 6.1
Nokia 6.1 3GB model’s price is now reduced to Rs 13,499 (earlier it was Rs 15,499), while the higher-end 4GB version has received a price cut of Rs 1,000 and can now be purchased for Rs 16,499.
Nokia 6.1 was launched in April this year. The dual-SIM (Nano) Nokia 6.1 runs Android 8.1 Oreo and features a 5.8-inch full-HD+ (1080×2280 pixels) display with a 2.5D Gorilla Glass 3 and a 19:9 aspect ratio. It is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 SoC.
Nokia 8 Sirocco
Nokia 8 Sirocco has come down to Rs 36,999 from the earlier Rs 49,999 price tag.
Nokia 8 Sirocco was launched in India in April this year. It is part of the Android One initiative and runs Android Oreo 8.1 out-of-the-box. It comes with a 5.5-inch QHD (1440×2560) Poled display which curves at the sides, has an aspect ratio of 16:9 and is covered by 3D Corning Gorilla Glass 5. It is powered by the octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC paired with 6GB of LPDDR4X RAM.
It is to be noted that the phones that have received the price cut are available to buy offline.
