The 25th installment of James Bonds ‘No Time to Die’ is one of the most awaited films of the year. The movie also marks Daniel Craig’s last outing as agent 007. The release of the years most anticipated film that is distributed internationally by Universal Pictures, is being postponed for seven months. The reason for the postponement from the start of April until November is due to the novel coronavirus outbreak.
As reported by Hollywood Reporter, MGM had already canceled publicity tours and other events for No Time to Die as the spread of COVID-19, the disease caused by the novel coronavirus, began to take hold. MGM, alongside Bond producers Michael Wilson and Barbara Broccoli, said the decision to postpone the release altogether came “after careful consideration and thorough evaluation of the global theatrical marketplace.”
