‘Drishyam’ director Nishikant Kamat in critical condition, hospitalized in Hyderabad
Reports state that 'Drishyam' director Nishikant Kamat has been hospitalized in Hyderabad and is in critical condition.
Nishikant Kamat made his debut in the Marathi film, ‘Dombivali Fast’ which earned him immense popularity and also became one of the superhits of Marathi Cinema. Now, the reports state that he has been hospitalized and is currently in serious condition.
According to an exclusive report in Spotboye, Nishikanth is said to have suffered from Liver Cirrhosis in the past and now, it is reported that liver cirrhosis has now has relapsed and he has been admitted to the Hyderabad hospital and his condition is said to be critical.
In 2006, Kamat entered the Bollywood industry and made his debut in the film, ‘Mumbai Meri Jaan’, which was based on the Mumbai train bombings, later, he also played a negative role in the 2016 thriller film, ‘Rocky Handsome,’ which was also directed by him.
Apart from acting, he is also known as a renowned filmmaker, who has directed movies like, ‘Drishyam,’ ‘Daddy,’ Madaari’, and many more. However, ‘Drishyam’ is one of the most praised films, which also features Ajay Devgn, Tabu, Shriya Saran, Ishita Dutta, and Mrunal Jadhav in the lead role. It also received overwhelming reviews from critics.
