Riteish Deshmukh to Paresh Rawal, Bollywood celebrities offer condolences to 'Drishyam' director Nishikant Kamat.
‘Drishyam’ director Nishikant Kamat passed away today in a private hospital in Hyderabad. In a statement, the hospital said that Kamat was admitted on July 31 with complaints of fever and excessive fatigue, his condition deteriorated eventually leading to multiple organ failure.
Condolences have been pouring in from all across the nation. From Riteish Deshmukh, Ajay Devgn and many other celebrities from the Bollywood industry took to their social media handle to mourn the demise of the director.

On August 11, he was hospitalized in AIG Hospitals, Gachibowli, Hyderabad, the hospital said that he was diagnosed with chronic liver disease.
Kamat made his debut in the Marathi film, âDombivali Fastâ which earned him immense popularity and also became one of the superhits of Marathi Cinema. He also won a National Award for Best Feature Film in Marathi. Later, he made his debut in the film, âMumbai Meri Jaanâ he also acted in âRocky Handsomeâ, âBhavesh Joshi Superheroâ, âDaddyâ and âJulie 2.â
Apart from acting, he was also known as a renowned filmmaker, who directed movies like, âDrishyam,â âDaddy,â Madaariâ, and many more. However, âDrishyamâ is one of the most praised films.
