Nisha Rawal and Karan Mehra’s spat is over his extramarital affair?

Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata hai fame Karan Mehra got embroiled in the controversy after his estranged wife, Nisha Rawal accused him of domestic assault. Reportedly, she has filed a lawsuit against him at the Goregaon police station alleging he hit her to a point that she got stitches. The actor was arrested by the police last night itself and he got the bail on Tuesday noon i.e June 1. Alongside alleging him of the physical assault, she claimed that he was having extramarital affair with a lady. She informed all this to the media outlets. 

Nisha Rawal made a shocking statement. According to her, this all spat is over his extramarital affair. She reveals that she has now filed a case of domestic violence against Karan Mehra. Giving inside details about the case, Nisha informed Bombay Times, “One of the charges filed by me against him is of domestic violence. I hadn’t spoken about it for so many years as I understand that for an actor his career and image are of utmost importance. This is definitely about Karan having an extramarital affair, me trying to work on the marriage, him not even taking responsibility for the child and constant abuse over the years, which I have never spoken about. I have evidence to authenticate my claim.”

For the unversed, Nisha further opened up that she didn’t speak about this matter earlier because she was still loving him as her husband and somewhere wanted to sort the issue up. However, she claims that his (Karan’s) behavior has changed for a while now, which makes her speak up the truth. Nisha had also apparently prepared her resume and applied for jobs to look after her child.

She further informs the daily that, “I told him that let’s settle it amicably and agree on an X amount. I made my resume, circulated it and started asking for a job for a month. I will do any work to support my child.”
