Grammy-Nominated American Rapper Nipsey Hussle Shot Dead In Broad Daylight

An American Singer and Song-writer and Grammy-nominated Nipsy Hussle, who was fatally shot in broad daylight outside his clothing shop in the United States have been declared dead on arrival at the hospital, Los Angeles Times reported. According to reports, apart from Nepsy Hussle, there are two more persons injured in the shooting incident.
The shooting reportedly took place at 3.20 p.m. on Sunday which left the 33-year old American killed and injured two others. It is to be noted that the incident took place hours after Hussle took to Twitter and wrote: “Having strong enemies is a blessing.”
According to the Los Angeles Times, Hussle was shot by a young man who opened fire at close range and then ran to a waiting getaway car. Based on initial information, the shooting was likely planned and gang-related, the source said.
Nepsy Hussle had emerged from the West Coast hip-hop scene in the mid-2000s. Earlier, he used to be known for his several mixtapes which include his Bullets Ain’t Got No Name series, The Marathon, The Marathon Continues and Crenshaw, the latter of which rapper Jay-Z, bought 100 copies for $100 each.
Hussle was nominated for Best Rap Album for “Victory Lap,” his first formal album that finally dropped in February last year after six years of teasing, but lost out to rap’s woman of the moment Cardi B.
“We have no suspect info at this time and will provide more details as they become available,” the Los Angeles Police Department told BBC.
There are several artists who were shocked to hear the deadly incident and demise of Nipsy Hussle, took to Twitter and expressed their condolences. Rihana wrote on Twitter: “This doesn’t make any sense! My spirit is shaken by this! Dear God may His spirit Rest In Peace and May You grant divine comfort to all his loved ones! ???

Nipsey Hussle’s real name was Ermias Davidson Asghedom, who brought up in South Los Angeles and was in the Rollin’ 60s street gang when he was a teenager.
In an interview with Los Angeles Times in 2018, he had said, “We dealt with death, with murder. It was like living in a war zone, where people die on these blocks and everybody is a little bit immune to it.”
