‘Never Have I Ever Season 2’ gets a release date, first look out
On Wednesday, Netflix announced that the second season of 'Never Have I Ever Season 2' will be dropping this July.
Mindy Kaling’s hit Netflix series, ‘Never Have I Ever’ gets a second season. The American comedy is partially based on Kaling’s childhood in the Boston area. It premiered on Netflix on April 27, 2020, and is about an Indian American high school student dealing with the death of her father and instantly became the viewer’s favorite. Co-created by Lang Fisher.
The official social media handle of Netflix shared new pictures and announced the release month of the show. “If you’re excited for the new season, we have a lot in COMMON”

The lead Maitreyi Ramakrishnan plays Devi Vishwakumar also shared the photos on her Instagram handle and penned a long note, that read as: “Pros: NHIE SEASON TWO RELEASES IN JULY 2021! Its a date!🥳❤️
Cons: literally nothing. Undetermined factors: we don’t know exactly when in July so I guess let’s just date for the whole month? Wear something cute and I’ll see you soon at Sherman Oaks❤️”
The series is mostly narrated by professional tennis player John McEnroe, with one of the episodes narrated by Andy Samberg. In the second season, rapper Common will be reprising his role as Dr. Chris Jackson a dermatologist who works in the same building as Devi’s mother Nalini.
Along with Maitreyi, Poorna Jagannathan Nalini, Richa Moorjani as Kamala, Jaren Lewison as Ben, Darren Barnet as Paxton, Lee Rodriguez as Fabiola, and Ramona Young as Eleanor will be returning to the show.
