Bollywood actor Sonu Sood won hearts when he extended a helping hand to stranded migrants reach home amidst the coronavirus lockdown. Sonu was always at the forefront helping workers, students and many more during the lockdown. But recently, some netizens pointed out inconsistencies in Sonu’s charity work. They labelled the actor’s work as a PR stunt.
Recently Sonu Sood extended a helping hand to a Twitter user who asked for help. The user said that their son had to undergo open-heart surgery. Sonu Sood responded to the tweet that the boy will be admitted to SRCC hospital and surgery will also be scheduled this week.

Netizens raised suspicion as the account from which the original tweet had been sent was brand new. It had no profile picture and gave no contact detail. Neither was Sonu Sood tagged in it.

Sonu Sood was hailed for his selfless act by many Twitter users but a section still doubted him. They felt the date on the sheet and the tweet differed.
