Neha Dhupia’s father breaks silence on his daughter’s pregnancy

Bollywood actors Angad Bedi and Neha Dhupia, recently tied the knot in a hush-hush ceremony according to Sikh rituals at a gurudwara in Vasant Vihar, New Delhi. The lovebirds announced their marriage on social media by sharing a picture of their nuptials, leaving their fans in a state of shock.

Soon rumours of Neha being pregnant being the real reason behind the hush hush marriage started making the rounds of Bollywood circles. Though Neha and Angad have maintained a silence on the matters. Her father Pradip Dhupia, decided to come clear on the whole matter.

Neha’s father, Pradip Dhupia, recently spoke to Dainik Bhaskar and said, “No no.. there is no such thing at all. Since the two got married early, people are thinking otherwise. But there is no such thing. People will keep talking about things and spread rumors as per their wish.”

On being asked the reason behind the intimate ceremony, he said, “It was decided by both the families and the couple as they didn’t have much time because of their respective work commitments. We only got a day or two to make all the wedding arrangements after the date was finalised.”

On being asked if the couple will host a reception for their friends. Neha’s father said it depends on the couple.
