Talking to Zoom, the actress said, “I put my side put. I see no reason why there is going to be such a loud noise for what I said. For me taking a stand against abuse and domestic violence. People have their own point of views and there is a troll universe that exists and people will continue to do so and I don’t know what to say to them. If they haven’t understood my point of view and if they haven’t understood now, after what I said on TV and what I said in my statement, I don’t think they ever will.”
Further, she added, “It is sad, it is also said that only half of what I said is getting highlighted. I always feel you are in 2020 and your voice must be heard. So, if I am against abuse, physically abusive in case of girls, then I am going to raise it.”
The 39-years-old- actress complimented actors like Ayushmann Khurrana, Taapsee Pannu and said, “The smart ones got it. Whether it Ayushmann Khurrana, Taapsee Pannu, people that I l respect. I can go on and on about the support and people came forward and they took a stand against abuse and physical violence,’ she ended.
On the work front, Dhupia was last seen in 2018’s ‘Helicopter Eela’ and 2017’s ‘Tumhari Sulu.’
