One of the most talented actors in the Bollywood industry-Rishi Kapoor passed away last year. On April 29, 2020, the actor was hospitalized at Sir H. N. Reliance Foundation Hospital owing to breathing difficulties. The following day on 30 April 2020, he died from leukemia. His death came less than 24 hours after Irrfan Khan.
On Rishi Kapoor’s first death anniversary, his wife and actress Neetu Kapoor took to her Instagram handle and shared a throwback picture with her late husband remembering him. Sharing the black and white photo, she penned an emotional caption that read as: “All of last year has been of grief and sadness around the world for us maybe more as we lost him .. Not a day has gone by when we have not discussed or reminisced him as he was an extension of our existence .. sometimes his wise advice:: his wise cracks : his anecdotes !! We have celebrated him all year with a smile on the lips as he will stay in our hearts forever 🌸 we have accepted life will never be the same without him !!! But life will go on …. 🙏💕💕💕🌸🌸🌸#rishikapoor”

In 2018, Rishi Kapoor was diagnosed with leukemia and went to New York City for treatment. After successful treatment for a year, he returned to India on 26 September 2019.
Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor tied the knot on January 22, 1980. Before their wedding, the duo appeared in movies such as Kabhi Kabhie, Khel Khel Mein, Amar Akbar Anthony, and Zehreela Insaan, among others. The couple has two children- son, actor Ranbir Kapoor, and daughter, Riddhima Kapoor Sahni.
