The actress recently posted a video accusing ex-husband, Abhinav Kohli of physical abuse. After the video goes viral on the internet, the NCW (National Commission for Women) responded about getting involved in the case of physical abuse.
In the video posted by Shweta Tiwari, she was seen carrying her son Reyansh to the building garden. Abhinav on the other side keeps lingering around her. At one point, she falls on the ground and he takes their son away from her arms. After this video goes viral on the internet, Abhinav posted a few more glimpses from the building and narrated his side of the story. Now the National Commission for Women in India has responded to the physical abuse claims by the actress. On Tuesday, the organization shared a tweet post about getting involved in the case. The tweet read:“@NCWIndia is perturbed by this reported incident and has taken cognizance of the matter. Chairperson @sharmarekha has written to DGP Maharashtra asking to immediately to look into the matter and take appropriate action in accordance with the law.”

For the unversed, Shweta and Abhinav parted their ways after she accused him of domestic violence. The couple got separated in 2019. And currently, they are dealing with disputes about their son’s custody.
