Naga Chaitanya’s next with RX 100 director Ajay Bhupathi shelved?

RX 100 director Ajay Bhupathi doing a movie with Telugu star Naga Chaitanya was doing the rounds but now it seems the movie is not happening. As per a report in DNA, things are not getting planned yet. The report states that after several deliberations and discussions things haven’t gone to the next level.

DNA quoted a source saying, “Director Ajay had an interesting script in hand which Naga Chaitanya really loved when initially narrated. He asked to work on it a little further because he really liked the character of an intense cop. He was to play a cop in an intense drama where he’d be pitted against a gangster. After discussing and reworking on the script for a while, things didn’t materialize.”

The source further said, “After meeting several actors the film hasn’t worked out and so at this moment Ajay has decided to put this project on a backburner. It would be safe to say the project is now shelved. He will be concentrating on a new film that will be female-centric.”

The movie was supposed to be titled as Mahasamudram. Initially, there was the buzz that Nithiin will star in the movie, then Ram and Bellamkonda Srinivas and then Naga Chaitanya. But as of now, the director is not going ahead with the project. Also, there was news that Samantha will be paired opposite Chaitanya.

Naga Chaitanya’s last film was Majili opposite his wife Samantha. The movie was a huge success.
