As the New Years celebrations are here, few state governments have imposed night curfew in order to contain the outspread of Coronavirus from the parties. As per the revised restrictions- hotels, bars and beach restaurants can not host any Year End/ New Party or public gatherings. The securities have been tightened all across after the UK reported a new strain of mutant Coronavirus cases. According to the latest reports, approximately 33000 people have arrived from the United Kingdom last month.
After it was revealed that the mutant Coronavirus is spreading with a faster speed, health officials have shown concerns over it. Indian government on the other side has imposed temporary suspension of flights coming from the UK. The new mutant COVID-19 virus is said to 70 per cent more transmissible and it was first detected in the month of September. Even though, Indian has suspended flights, as per the media reports already several people have travelled back to the country in last month.
In the period of last one month, that is during the November 24-December 23, around 33,000 passengers arrived in India from the UK. More than 120 people returning from the UK have tested positive for Covid-19.
