The Leopard attacks in Mumbai have become quite frequent over the last few months. A latest incident took place on Wednesday at around 7.45 pm at Visava Workers Colony in Aarey. A 65-year-old women, identified as Nirmala R. Singh was attacked by the leopard hiding outside her residence. She escaped the attack after smartly scaring the animal with her walking stick.
The forest officials suspect that recent attacks are being carried out by a single leopardess, which is around two years old. The video goes viral on the internet, wherein Niramala is seen walking slowly outside her residence with the help of her walking stick. She sits in front of her house in the evening. In no time the leopard comes from her right side to attack. With her walking cane she repulse the attack. Although the leopard gave her a few scares- on her jaws and back, she managed to survive the attack.

For the unversed, few days ago a leopard cub was caught walking in the rain in Mumbai. The cub was rescued by a women, who wrapped the animal in a blanket and took care of it until the forest officials reached.
