Mumbai Rains Live Update: Police diverted traffic at Railway colony, SV road
Heavy rains continue pouring down since weekend in Mumbai, leaving major parts of city waterlogged. In this week everyone is warned about the dense rainfall prediction. On Sunday, 8th July 2018, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) issued a fresh warning of heavy to very heavy rains in Mumbai and adjoining districts. The traffic of the city can cause a problem due to water logging in some places where the BMC road work is still pending.
However, severe water-logging in Sion, Andheri, Ghatkopar, Hindmata Circle in Parel, King’s Circle in Matunga and several other areas forced the Mumbai Traffic Police to divert traffic.
Despite the incessant rains since morning, services on all the three lines of Central Railway is fine. However, a little delay is possible. Officers & staff have been deputed at low lying areas & are monitoring the situation: AK Jain, Central Railways

The weather department is expecting widespread rainfall in the region till Wednesday.
Skymet has predicted that the offshore trough extending along the West Coast will shower moderate to heavy rains over South Gujarat, Konkan and Goa, Coastal Karnataka and Kerala.
