Mumbai Rains Live Updates: Rains will continue to intensify during night hours
Mumbai is been warned from last week on floods. Though some parts are affected due to water logging still the city of dreams has managed to be on its toe. Indian Meteorological Department warning continues of heavy to very heavy rain over the Konkan region and Goa for the next 48 hours. Figures released by private weather broadcaster Skymet Weather revealed that the rains will intensify during night hours. According to the record, Colaba had 105 mm of rainfall between 8:30 am and 5:30 pm. Similarly, Santa Cruz to has witnessed heavy rains of 76 mm.
Lines of Western Railway were also affected due to July rain. But now Western Railway is claiming that everything is under restoration and the railway lines are functioning.
Yesterday, the administration has closed schools and other educational institutions for a day.

BMC advises citizens to stay wary of rumours, says no cyclone warning, sea link not closed
The city’s municipal corporation has advised citizens to stay wary of the rumours being spread. The municipal body clarified that the Bandra Sea Link is completely functional and there is no cyclone warning issued. The body advised citizens to get in touch with the MCGM’s Disaster Management Department in case of an emergency, at 1916.
