On Sunday evening, he spotted the minor alone at her home after her parents had gone to the market. At around 7 pm he called her to his house and reportedly raped her. When the minor started screaming, local and neighbour thronged and caught him.

As per the police complaint, both victim and accused live in the same locality. After noticing her parents are not at home, he had asked her to come to his house on the pretext of giving her chocolates and raped her.
