Mumbai Local Services To Resume Its Full Services Post Pandemic Lockdown
Following The Pandemic Coronavirus Lockdown Mumbai Locals Were Working With Limited Services. Now Locals To Resume Its Complete Services For The Commuters From Friday
The pandemic Coronavirus wave brought a stand still to the normal working of all the states and the nation. Following the nationwide lockdown restrictions Mumbai railway had to minimise its services and local trains. Only essential service commuters were allowed to travel through locals and they were also asked to follow COVID-19 guidelines while travelling. According to the latest reports, the Central and Western Railways department to resume 95 per cent of its working from coming Friday. The Central Railway will apparently operate around 1685 local train services from coming Friday.
The decision commenced after the MAHA Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray had a meeting with the railway department, wherein the discussion was about resuming full services for both central and western railway departments. On the other side, Sumit Thakur, the Chief PR officer from Western Railway, reportedly said that, “Additional 204 local train services will be added on the Central and Western Railway from January 29. Passengers as permitted by the ministry of railways and the government of Maharashtra are only allowed to travel by the suburban trains.”

Maharashtra including other states started relaxing a little bit after the nationwide Coronavirus vaccination drive begun last week. During the first round of vaccination the frontline workers were vaccinated. India is also helping others countries after providing them the vaccines to fight against COVID-19. Bhutan and Maldives are the first two nations to receive the vaccine help so far.
