As per the TOI report, Shubhangi Bhute, an IMD scientist, has claimed that the cyclone Gulabwas formed on Saturday evening is likely to move westwards.

She said, “Due to this, the heavy rains coupled with strong and gusty winds are likely to be witnessed in Maharashtra. On September 27 Vidarbha and Marathwada may be impacted while on September 28 parts of Madhya Maharashtra and Konkan will witness rain activity. Therefore, citizens are requested to take precautions.”
