Mumbaikars woke up to a shocking accident as a BEST bus rammed into a Dumper. Eight people were injured in the collision that took place in the Dadar area of Mumbai city. Of the eight injured five have serious injuries. The incident happened early this morning at around 7.15 am. The BEST bus (Route no 22) was travelling from Marol to Pydhonie in south Mumbai.
As per the Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai, The injured persons included three women passengers and the driver and the conductor of the bus. The condition of five people including the driver and the conductor of the bus is serious.
A CCTV grab shows a speeding BEST bus ramming into the dumper truck from behind at a traffic signal on Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Road. Due to the impact, a passenger standing in the bus door was thrown out on the road.

The BMC official stated that all the eight inured are admitted to a civic hospital in Sion. Doctors at the hospital said that the condition of five injured persons, including the bus driver, conductor, and three passengers, is serious. But the condition of the remaining three is stable. BEST spokesperson has not responded as yet.
