The best part about the new live-action remake of this film is that it won’t be a musical. That just gives us a break from the music dominated films by Disney like ‘Cinderella’, ‘Aladdin’, ‘Beauty and the Beast’ and so many more. Not the mention, Disney has a name for Musicals just like ‘High School Musical’, ‘Lemonade Mouth’ and ‘Camp Rock’ to just mention a few.
The film will be directed by Niki Caro who hails from New Zealand. Apparently, this is the film that has reportedly the biggest budget of all. The film which is slated to hit the screens on the 27th of March of 2020 also stars Liu Yifei, Donnie Yen, Jason Scott Lee, Yoson An, Gong Li, Jet Li.
