The revamped stadium is all set to host its debut match between India and England. The worlds largest stadium will be inaugurated by President Ram Nath Kovind in Ahmedabad on Wednesday before the pink ball test between India and England.
The Motera Stadium can host 1,10,000 spectators. It is by far the largest among cricket stadiums. It has gone past the 90,000-mark of the MCG in Australia. Motera is gearing up for the return of international cricket as it hosts the first International Match at the venue.
