MONSTA X Wonho’s departure from the group announced
Wonho is leaving the group MONSTA X
MONSTA X Wonho announces leaving the group MONSTA X. Wonho announced that he will also be parting ways with Starship Entertainment. Now, the group that had once seven members will be left with six members. There will be now Shownu, Minhyuk, Kihyun, Hyungwon, Jooheon and I.M.
Reportedly, a talent agency revealed the news with their statement stating that the once seven members group that they were will apparently resume forward with the six remaining members which are Shownu, Minhyuk, Kihyun, Hyungwon, Jooheon and I.M.
Lately, the departure of Wonho has shocked the people. It was not long ago when MONSTA X made a comeback with their album; FOLLOW: Find You. This was on October 28. Moreover, MONSTA X were recently gaining momentum in the United States. It was also disclosed that they would be performing at iHeart Radio Jingle Ball besides Taylor Swift and Jonas Brothers at the year end.
Wonho, 26 year old, departed from the K-Pop group Monsta X since the allegations following that he owes his friend Jung Da Eun 30 million won according to Metro. Meanwhile, the announcement of Wonho’s departure was made by Monsta X’s agency Starship Entertainment. The agency tweeted the statement describing Wonho’s departure.
Moreover, part of the statement read, “After a long discussion with Monsta X’s member Wonho, we have agreed it’s best to part ways amicably at this point. We greatly respect Wonho’s decision who wants to make sure the recent chain of events doesn’t distract from all the exciting things that are happening for Monsta X now and what lies ahead in the future.” Check out the picture below.
