Naagin 5: Mohit Sehgal refutes rumors of him quitting the show

For quite some time, there have reports doing rounds on the internet stating that Mohit Sehgal, who plays the role of Jay in Ekta Kapoor’s Naagin 5.  However, finally, the actor has finally reacted to the reports and refused the rumors.

Speaking to India Forums, Mohit said, “1It is a lie, I am very much part of the show.”

He also took to his Instagram story and reshared a post by Naagin 5’s creative producer Mukta Dhond, in which, she captioned it as, “naagin5 trio. 1) good 2) evil but also good. 3) just pure evil and not good. All 3 out story. All three here to stay. @officialsurbhic @sharadmalhotra009 @itsmohitsehgal more action, more romance, and so much revenge. All on #naagin5 every #weekend stay tuned.

Resharing the photo, he wrote, “Hope it clarifies everything.”

Earlier, a report in Pinkvilla, said that the makers are planning to focus on the love story of Surbhi Chandna aka Naagin and Sharad Malhotra aka Cheel, and now that Mohit’s character’s intent has been exposed in the show, his role may come to an end. The report also said that as Ekta Kapoor’s show’s TRP is still not been able to meet the expectations, thus, the makers are trying their best to keep the audience hooked by introducing new twists in the show.
