Television heartthrob Mohit Raina, who is best known for playing the role of Mahadev in Life OK’s mythological drama ‘Devon Ke Dev…Mahadev’, is currently busy shooting for a new project in Lucknow for a month now. The handsome hunk, known for his drool-worthy body, has got injured on the sets of the same.
According to latest reports, the actor got injured while shooting an action sequence in Malihabad and was immediately rushed to a hospital there where he was got stitches above his left eye.
Talking about it, the actor, in a statement to ‘Times of India’ said, “Everything was going as planned during the shoot, and I was having a great time being in Lucknow, then suddenly one day I get hurt badly while performing a stunt for the project for which I am here.”
He further added, “While performing the stunts, my calculations went a bit wrong and I hurt my left eye so badly that I had to be taken to the hospital and was admitted there for a day. I have got stitches above my left eye. My eye got saved by inches by God’s grace and I was back to work the next day.”
Incidentally, he was treated in the same hospital in Gomti Nagar where he had gone to visit a friend admitted there.
On his work front, Mohit was last seen in ’21 Sarfarosh – Saragarhi 1897′, a historical period drama based on the famous Battle of Saragarhi. Apart from Mohit Raina, the show starred Prakhar Shukla and Mukul Dev in key roles. The TV show was produced by Contiloe Entertainment and it ran from 12 February to 11 May 2018 on Discovery Jeet.
