The Mohammed Shami- Hasin Jahan saga just keeps on rolling as now, the fast bowler has reportedly asked for a gunman to protect him after he received death threats from his wife, a report in Aaj Tak states.
Reportedly, Shami has had an application submitted to the District Magistrate of Amroha Hemant Kumar, asking him for a gunner and he has been asked in turn to complete certain formalities linked to the application.

The entire controversy involving the two had started in March this year when Jahan had posted screenshots on Facebook of Shami’s chats with other women. The next few weeks saw the two make claims against each other and Jahan had even accused Shami of the match-fixing-a fact that was noted in by the BCCI as the body initially held the right-arm paceman’s central contract.
But after an investigation conducted by the BCCI’s Anti-Corruption Unit (ACSU), Shami was cleared off all such charges and was awarded a contract eventually.
It was reported last month that Jahan had lost a case of maintenance against Shami at the Alipore court which turned down the Rs 10 lakh claimed by the cricketer’s wife. But, the court approved the maintenance claim of Rs 80,000 that Shami would pay for their daughter Aairah Shami.
