Over the period of last few years, every first person shooter gamer accustomed using Supply Drops, which allows users to earn through game play or spending money on opening them in exchange for cosmetics. If you are one of them, there is a bad news coming to you. Yes, if the latest rumour is to be believed, Supply Drops would no longer feature in Modern Warfare.
As soon as the news of not appearing Supply Drops in Modern Wafare surfaced, fans have been expressing their anger on social media. As the game launch event is merely a few days away, players seem angry after a leak claimed that the practice of dropping weapons in loot boxes was set to continue, forcing Activision and Infinity Ward to change course and remove them, announcing that they would not feature in the game.
While this somewhat appeased players, it was likley that they would eventually feature in the title following release, but a new leak contradicts this.
Taking to Twitter, a popular leaker The Gaming Revolution, wrote, “Hearing rumors that there will be a statement coming out soon that will give a definitive answer that there will be no supply drops in Modern Warfare, whatsoever, ever.”
Notably, there is no official announcement related to same is made as of now. As the release of Modern Warfare is just a week away, we hope the official announcement about the same would be made soon.
