Mithun Chakraborty collapses on the sets of The Kashmir Files; shoot comes to halt
Mithun Chakraborty was shooting for his upcoming film ‘The Kashmir Files’, fell ill on the sets and the shooting came to a halt.
Mithun Chakraborty is currently shooting for Vivek Agnihotri’s upcoming film ‘The Kashmir Files’ in Mussoorie. However, now, according to the latest reports, the shooting was halted as the actor fell ill on the sets and collapsed due to a stomach infection.
The director of the film Vivek Agnihotri completed the shooting for a sequence in spite of being in a bad condition. Talking to the Times Of India, he said, “We were shooting for a big action sequence. Everything was centered around Mithun Chakraborty’s character but suddenly he suffered from a bout of infection and it was very bad. No normal person can stand in that condition but he went out for some time and came back and finished the entire shoot.”

“He was constantly asking me, ‘Your shooting is not getting halted right?’ I am really, really surprised because I haven’t seen anyone in the new generation working so dedicatedly,” the filmmaker added.
Further, he also praised the actor and said, “Mithun Da is the most focused hardworking, and professional actor and that’s why he is a superstar. Not only that when we came back for the shoot in the morning, he charged everybody with his energy and made sure that everyone is working at a fast speed. Because of that, we could cover the backlog which we had. Actors like Mithun Chakraborty are assets to any unit, any crew, and any film.”
‘The Kashmir Flies,’ also features Anupam Kher and it will hit the floors in 2021.
