Mithali Raj became the first Indian batswoman to cross 2000-run mark in Twenty20 Internationals. With 2232 runs, the right-hander also leapfrogged Rohit Sharma into becoming the highest T20 run scorer from India.
Raj made a brilliant fifty as India chased down the 135-run target quite comfortably against arch-rivals Pakistan and continued their unbeaten streak at the World T20 competition. Her innings of 56 from 47 deliveries came with the help of seven boundaries as India remained second in Group B.
