Mission Mangal Trailer: Akshay Kumar’s girl squad will take you on magical ride

Akshay Kumar who was last seen in war drama ‘Kesari’, will next be seen in ‘Mission Mangal’. The movie is based on India’s interplanetary mission known as the Mar’s Orbit Mission. After sharing the hard-hitting posters and teaser of the much-awaited movie, the makers have now unveiled the trailer.

The trailer features a number of goosebump moment that will keep you hooked. It is all about Rakesh Dhawan(Akshay Kumar) and Tara Shinde (Vidya Balan) together with a team of brilliant scientists who successfully sent a satellite to Mars in their very first attempt.

Directed by Jagan Shakti, Mission Mangal also features Sonakshi Sinha, Taapsee Pannu, Sharman Joshi, Kirti Kulhari and Nithya Menen in pivotal roles. India’s first space film, Mission Mangal, is in collaboration with R Balki and jointly produced by Fox Star Studios and Cape Of Good Films.

It is scheduled to release on Independence Day (August 15) this year. It might clash with Prabhas starrer ‘Saaho’ and John Abraham’s ‘Batla House’.

On the work front, Akshay Kumar also has Rohit Shetty’s cop drama ‘Sooryavanshi’ co-starring Katrina Kaif. He will also be seen in Karan Johar’s ‘Good News’. The movie also features Kareena Kapoor Khan, Diljit Dosanjh and Kiara Advani. Akshay also has ‘Housefull 4’ co-starring Kriti Sanon in his kitty.
