The new season of much-awaited crime drama Mirzapur is back. Mirzapur 2 has started streaming on Amazon Prime Video and fans are once again hooked to the revenge drama. ‘Mirzapur 2’ is murkier and bloodier than season one. The Face-Off between Kaleen Bhaiya(Pankaj Tripathi) and Guddu Bhaiya(Ali Fazal) is at its peak with revenge and fight for supremacy.
STORY:
The new season is all about crime lord Kaleen Bhaiya(Pankaj Tripathi) who vows to make his son, Munna (Divyendu Sharmaa) capable of carrying forward his legacy and ruling the city. We also have Guddu Pandit out to avenge the death of his brother (Vikrant Massey) and his wife (Shriya Pilgaonkar). He is joined by Sweety’s sister Golu. The duo not only aim for revenge but also rule Mirzapur. This season we have some new entries, Rati Shankar Pandey’s son Sharad Shukla, Dadda Tyagi and his grandson. They all have one aim to eliminate Kaleen and Munna and rule over Mirzapur.

REVIEW:
Ali Fazal and Pankaj Tripathi are the scene stealers of the new season. Pankaj Tripathi has nailed the character of Kaleen Bhaiya. From being a dictator who rules Mirzapur with an iron hand to a disappointed father of Munna. Pankaj Tripathi talks more with his eyes than his mouth. He is a delight to watch and has played the character with poise.
Guddu Pandit (Ali Fazal) has turned into a menacing avenger out for revenge. He is like a wounded lion ready to pounce. His performance has only gone a level higher and become more fierce. Shwetha’s performance was applaud worthy- She has turned from a docile college girl to a girl out for blood and a desire to rule over Mirzapur.
The cinematography is just as amazing as the last season. The background score and the music too are perfect. Though it rides high on violence and crude language, like the previous season. Mirzapur 2 is like a scorpion with a sting in its tail. The thrilling plot and edge-of-the-seat action all make it a must-watch.
