Mini Mathur Working With Husband Kabir: “We Keep Our Personal & Professional Lives Separate”

Mini Mathur is one of the best-known TV host and anchor. A former MTV-VJ, Mini was also known for hosting Indian Idol. Her filmmaker husband Kabir Khan is very well known for ‘Ek Tha Tiger’ and ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’. She opens up about her husband and their personal and professional lives and how they have each other’s back all the time.

Mini often asked about her acting preferences, told IANS “I hate to play an anchor and I dislike the fact that people assume that because I am an anchor, I would only like to play the role of an anchor in a film. Give me different roles.” She also adds “Kabir and I have a pact that we keep our personal and professional lives separate. I told him that people will accuse him of casting his wife and they would assume that I have no work and that is why I am doing his films.”

She also says that she would always prefer to be the director’s wife on set. The actress prefers to avoid daily soaps but would always prefer the web platform. Mini Mathur along with Cyrus Sahukar are acting together in a series title ‘Mind the Malhotras’.

The two have also hosted the integrated school quiz show Discovery School Super League together, which will premiere on April 28 on Discovery Channel, Discovery HD World, Discovery Science and Discovery Kids.
