Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth announce separation after 8 months of marriage
Celebrity couple Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth have separated after less than a year of marriage. The much in love couple who had tied the knot on December 2018, split in less than a year of their marriage. The duo has mutually decided to separate to focus on themselves and their career.
A representative for the singer told E! News Opens a New Window, “Liam and Miley have agreed to separate at this time. Ever-evolving, changing as partners and individuals, they have decided this is what’s best while they both focus on themselves and careers. They still remain dedicated parents to all of the animals they share while lovingly taking this time apart. Please respect their process and privacy.”
On Saturday, Miley posted a photo of herself on Instagram where she was not seen wearing her wedding band.
Cyrus, 26, and Hemsworth, 29, exchanged vows at their Nashville home on December 23, 2018. They had been dating on and off for 10 years. Losing their Malibu home during the Woolsey Canyon wildfire a month earlier was the push they needed to make their union official.
In June, reports surfaced that Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth were going through a tough time in their marriage. At that time, Cyrus had slammed the rumours of them splitting up as total rubbish.
Recently Miley Cyrus was seen kissing Brody Jenner’s ex-wife Kaitlynn Carter while on a vacation in Italy. The singer has admitted that she is attracted to both men and women. However, there is nothing brewing in between Cyrus and Carter.
