Rakhi Sawant gave the #MeToo movement a new turn. After hitting back at Tanushree Dutta for her sexual harassment allegations against Nana Patekar, Rakhi has now come up with her own #MeToo story.
She states that she was raped constantly for 12 years not by a man by a woman. And the oppressor here happens to be Tanushree Dutta.
According to a report by Bollywood Hungama, the former Bigg Boss contestant on Thursday called for a press conference where she alleged that the Dhol star had sexually assaulted her numerous times.
“I am too embarrassed to say this but I was raped twelve years ago. Being a girl, I shouldn’t even use this word (rape). I am ashamed, upset and hurting while telling this story,” she said at the conference where many big media houses had gathered to hear her story.
Tanushree had earlier filed a 10 crore defamation case against Rakhi, after the Masti actress insulted her in a series of Instagram posts.
Responding to the defamation case Rakhi had alleged that she will in return file a 50 crore defamation case against Tanushree for allegedly calling her a lower class girl.
“I want to tell the world that this disgusting incident has taken place with me, not just once but several times. I am afraid to take names because I am getting threats of murder and gang-rape. I have even filed a complaint to the police,” she stated at the conference.
“Tanushree was my best friend. She forced me into drugs. I was naive and innocent.”
“Tanushree has filed a defamation case against me for 10 crores, I will file a 50 crore defamation case against her for calling me a lower class girl.”
